But could it be that formerly unrealistic levels of exposure has normalised these things that always existed, and now they are mainstream and affecting kids __due to social media__ ?

Bingo. And algorithmic social media feeds reward fringe opinions—the more hateful the better—because those drive “engagement” which translates to attention, fame, money. Which means people are incentivised to be as controversial as possible. They don’t even have to fully believe what they preach, they just have to ensure they can enrage a large enough number of people. Which in turn brings the people who really believe those things out of the woodwork and the slime ball of hate gets bigger and rolls faster.

Social media as a technology isn’t necessarily the root cause of all those problems. But it is the medium by which those were allowed and incentivised to proliferate at an ever increasing pace.

It was originally payments owed to Dutch interests in America being converted to gold and stored locally on their behalf, as opposed to having to be transported across the Atlantic back to the Netherlands.

Then later the Dutch moved a lot more of their gold over there before/during WWII in order to keep it out of reach of the Nazis.

"Seems like you have a lack of control over when you pee your pants to me. Doesn't mean you have a medical condition."

I dunno... people keep telling me books are good but that isn't my experience

Just like when a do a search and the results aren't relevant

Obviously this means both books and web searches are useless

A solid state hard drive...?

I assume you could set up a "walking" journey with multiple stops as waypoints on your phone then when you press start your watch should pick it up and give you the direct route between each waypoint. Not sure if that would sufficiently provide what you were hoping for.

Add "ok" to this list as well - "oll korrect"

Following "Jordan" with "Peterson" doesn't seem random in the slightest

It never had my own surname as a suggestion, and there's many people, places and things called 'Jordan' in some way

So you want it to randomly pick the next word, rather than suggest the most common word?

The most common word I entered after my forename is my surname. All other keyboards handled this fine, but FUTO didn't. That's what's odd

I think that, for it to learn a word, you need to actually press the middle suggestion, not just space. I'm not sure, though. Couldn't you add your surname as a custom word?

Note that the polymarket skill was for using it as a research source, not for placing wagers, and has since been removed as part of a larger streamlining of the included set of skills.

Ah the classic Scunthorpe problem
